The deal
State-qualified instructors
Every lesson is taught by an instructor with a surf teaching diploma (BPJEPS surf or the former BEES) and a professional card.
Small groups
No more than eight students per instructor, so everyone gets corrected on every wave.
Board and wetsuit included
Soft beginner boards, wetsuits in every size and a lycra: you come with a swimsuit and a towel.
You must be able to swim
We ask every student to swim 25 metres and to put their head under water. In doubt, tell us: we check on the first day.

Your first session
Book your dates
We reply with the times: lessons move with the tide, so they change from one day to the next.
Wetsuit on, on the sand
Fifteen minutes before: the right wetsuit size, a board for your weight, the safety rules of the spot.
Warm-up and take-off
How to paddle, lie on the board and stand up, practised on the sand before going in.
In the white water
Waist-deep, in the foam, the instructor in the water beside you. Two hours go very fast.
Why our times change every day
Beginners learn in the white water, and the white water depends on the tide. We set each lesson at the tide that suits the spot, then confirm the time by email once your dates are booked.
No waves, a storm or a red flag: the lesson is moved to another day, never lost.
They said it
"I was 42 and had never touched a board. By the fourth morning of the course I was riding the foam all the way to the beach."
"The instructor saw in two waves why I kept falling. One private lesson was worth a whole summer on my own."
"Our two boys did the kids club in July. They came back every day with salt in their hair and a new trick to show us."
Questions before the first lesson
From what age can my child surf?
The kids club takes children from 7 to 12, and the adult groups from 10. What counts most is being able to swim 25 metres and being at ease in the water.
Do I need to know how to swim?
Yes. We ask every student to swim 25 metres and to put their head under water. If you are unsure, tell us when booking: we check on the first day.
What should I bring?
A swimsuit, a towel and sun cream. Board, wetsuit and lycra are provided. Leave valuables at home or in the car.
What happens if there are no waves?
If the sea is flat, too big or the flag is red, the lesson is moved to another day of your stay. You never pay for a lesson that did not happen.
Why do the lesson times change every day?
Beginners learn in the white water, which depends on the tide. We set each lesson at the best tide for the spot and send you the times once your dates are booked.
Who teaches the lessons?
Instructors with a state surf teaching diploma (BPJEPS surf or the former BEES) and a professional card, as French law requires for paid teaching.
Book a lesson or a course
Tell us the lesson, your dates and the age of each surfer. We reply with the times for those days and confirm your place.
